“Ticket” or “Helpdesk Ticket” is a term or a reference number used by NBSE helpdesk support system to describe an interaction between end-users and support/helpdesk team.
When end-users have problems, they open support tickets to the helpdesk team. Service representatives interact with end-users by responding to support tickets. When the issue is resolved, the ticket is closed.
